A special guest and a special cause

We’re a humorous father-daughter podcast where we talk about our lives and experiences in three segments.  As people say, we’re thrillingly close to actual entertainment!

We normally have 3 segments:

1. World Peas-our segment where we talk about goings-on in pop culture and the generational differences of understanding what the hell is going on.
2. Peas are Family/What’s pissing us off this week-our segment where we regale the listening audience with a story from our family experiences, or a rant about what’s pissing us off this week.
3. Peas of Information-I ask Tovah a couple of questions unrelated to anything we’ve talked about in this episode and get her stream of consciousness answers.

 

But this week, we have a special guest.  For the first time in the studio, we’re welcoming a third co-host.  This week, it’s one of our Charter Subscribers, and Top Fan, Annie Babineau.

On a serious note, Annie joins us to talk about Abby’s House, a non-profit in the Worcester Massachusetts area whose mission is to provide shelter & affordable housing, as well as advocacy and support services, to homeless, battered, & low-income women, with or without children.  Abby’s House does great work and is celebrating their 50^th year serving those in need in the Worcester area.  Tune in and learn about their upcoming gala event at the end of May, and how to support the agency and their vital work.
